Can I use this service immediately?
No, you have to have a welcome code to be able to use CoolCall. A welcome code can be obtained from one of the many resellers of CoolCall. The welcome code must be entered the first time you use CoolCall. After that you can start using CoolCall immediately. You will not be asked for your welcome code again the next time you call one of the 0900 numbers of CoolCall.

Yes, that is possible. In some instances, mobile operators charge high rates to connect to 0900 numbers, specifically for PrePay. In many cases it will still be cost effective to use CoolCall to make international calls from your mobile phone. If this is not the correct 0900 number for the destination you want to connect to, the system will provide you with the correct 0900 number to dial. The best CoolCall number to use is 0900-4444002. This number has a rate of 2 Eurocent per minute. This is the lowest rate of the CoolCall 0900 numbers.

What is the format I have to use for the international number I would like to call?
Once you have reached CoolCall you should enter the international number in the following format: 00 - country code - area code excluding the leading 0 - subscriber number.
For national numbers you can just enter: area code - subscriber number, as you would do when calling direct.

It is possible that 0900 dialing is blocked from your telephone. In that case CoolCall can not be reached.

In this case you have chosen a 0900 number which does not have the correct tariff in relation to the destination you want to call. The system will tell you what the correct 0900 number for the destination is. In this case, hang up and dial the mentioned 0900 number.

Apart from the call setup fee of 5 Eurocents per call and the usage charge per second for the 0900 number, as presented on CoolCall, there are no other costs involved in using CoolCall from a fixed telephone. You can buy a GSM sim card in the country you are staying in and have your friends, family and business partners call this number via CoolCall. In this case you will not be faced with international GSM calls charged to you and your friends and family will be able to call you at lower rates then when using their telecom provider.
